To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Social Champion
Scholarship, you must:

- You can only apply if you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia at time of application.

- This means that you have studied in an Australian secondary school or higher education institution which has been recognised by a state or territory authority as providing access to tertiary study opportunities and awards.
- Your course should have taken place within. If your course was overseas, it cannot be used to meet the residency requirement because it is not considered as having taken place ‘in Australia’ by virtue of being completed outside this country’s borders;
- however, if your university offers distance learning programs such as web based modules then these may count towards meeting
