• €5,000

European University Institute will provide a grant of €5,000 to every successful Applicants to cover all research Program expenses

Note: that the Grant will be paid in two installment:

• The first installment of €2,000 at the first research, as attested by the Director of the HAEU
• The second installment is €3,000 after the research results have been published by the Grant holders and onces the Grant holders have informed the director of the HAEU on the publication, the results must be published within 30 months, after the grants has been attributed.

How Can I apply for International Visegrad Fund Research Program?

• Applicants applying for International Visegrad Fund Research Program should send an E-mail to the Historical archive of the European Union at archiv@eui.edu.

The below documents should be attached to it. 

• A detailed presentation of the research proposal, including a Description of the research subjects, it’s Academic significance and it’s contribution to the research in the field, any previous Academic work performed in the field of study, and the proposed research methodology and timetable (five page maximum).
• A statement of appreciation plan for scholarly publications of the research results.
• A list of applicant’s previous publications (Not more than 10 including the most recent ones)
• A detailed annotated bibliography of source and studies related to the research. (Five page maximum)
• A justification of the need to use the HAEU Archivals holdings in Florence.
• A letter of a recommendation from the professor of the University or the University level research institute, providing an evaluation of the scholarly significance of the project and an assessments of the candidates Qualifications, ability and motivation to carry out the proposed research.
